Bárbara Andrea Franco Solana (born April 4, 1974) is a former Spanish swimmer who competed at two consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1992. She won the gold medal in the 200-meter butterfly at the European Short Course Swimming Championships 1996 in Rostock. Franco is married to Brazilian gold medalist swimmer Gustavo Borges.

Franco was born in Madrid, Spain.
Education
Franco attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, where she swam for the Florida Gators swimming and diving team in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) competition from 1992 to 1996.
